Here's a video done by YouTuber "ActionKid" who describes Bensonhurst well.
My name is Gordon Ng. When I was 5 my family lived at Bay Parkway. I occasionally enjoyed walking down Bay Parkway, where I would pick-up rainbow sprinkled jelly cookies at Rimini Bakery for my sister and mother, and Chinese Curry Puffs with Beef (aka "Gah-Lay-Gok") Maggie's Bakery for myself. Maggie's Bakery is still by far the best since moving. Nowadays my family lives near the center of Bensonhurst, there's no park like Seth-Low Playground here, there's an sixths of an avenue dedicated for the elderly ("Milestone Park") and Garibaldi Playground, where children group up to play freeze tag. Some specialties in my neighborhood are Pizza Den (definitely top of my list, although I think they retired), the Taco truck below 18th Avenue Station, and New Forest Cafe for breakfast. Other than that, I've been to many different schools like ahem: P.S. 247, P.S. 186, P.S. 180 (The Seeall Academy), I.S. 187 (Christa McAuliffe) and P.S. 101. High School came around and I spent my time in East Flatbush and Midwood at Murrow High, soon transferring to Brooklyn Technical High School in Williamsburg. I've been to most of New York City so, if you want a tour of New York City, feel free to talk to me!Â
